Disconcerting States #9
11th November, 2024. Veterans Day.
By John Dean
Dear people,
Great drive today on the autumnal, leaf-bright, storm-washed road across Virginia. The Old Dominion!
And down the gullet of the rich Shenandoah Valley, part of the great Appalachian Valley that’s spread out between the Blue Ridge to the East and the Allegheny Mountains to the West. We went down along the American spine — extended, extending….
Have to catch up on sleep (or sleep catches up on me).
Off to bed early. Back on line tomorrow about our Disconcerting States.
Hang in there…. To learn much more about that drive and who I drove with…….
